The minimizing AND the normalization of choking, while connecting it to male fucking, and how choking is such an erection pleaser.
Choking illicits a similar reaction in all women being choked by males, no matter the context. We react as if we are being murdered because we very likely ARE being murdered. Our reaction is the same, whether a male is choking us during domestic violence or porn.

Has anyone read the recent feminist work Down Girl? Her first few chapters deal extensively with choking as a tool of the patriarchy.
It’s both harrowing and interesting reading. Choking is a very big thing for patriarchal males both as a class and as individuals.
