I am a radical feminist living in the American south. I hold all of the basic tenets of radical feminism and believe that the purpose of feminism is to liberate women from the oppression and violence of males in a patriarchy.
I have read quite a bit of 2nd wave material, with Andrea Dworkin being my personal favorite. I also enjoy reading Feminist Current and gendertrender.
I don’t really expect to have any traffic at this blog. The area that I live in is very right wing, conservative republican, and I don’t think that I know one single feminist. Since I don’t have other women to talk to, I am placing my thoughts here. Mostly just to get them out.
But I hope that if I do get any visitors, that they will say “hi”.
